My Teva Sandals make my feet sweat very heavy. Why is that?
I am a big Teva sandal wearer. I love wearing them because they are so comfy. I have one problem with them though. They make my feet sweat very heavy and smell so bad. Especially when I wear my Terra Fi2s (These you can wear in the water) I have tried everything to get rid of the smell, and prevent the sweat problem, I would really like to try using powder, but to me that is too messy, and my feet still sweat, and stink as I wear them throughout the day. Even today when I wore my Terra Fi2s took them off when I went to a picnic, today, and they even smell as I wear them. YUCK! I even tried to soak my feet with the bottled water I had, and they still smelled bad. I do rotate my sandals like I do my sneakers, and I even tried cleaning my sandals with sandal suds, which Teva sells to get rid of the odor causing bateria. I also like to have the sandals on tight so they stay put on my feet. So why do my feet sweat so much even though I am wearing open toed shoes?
I asked a question like this a while back, the solution that worked for me was using an antiprespirant. I use Sure in can and I have less sweat when wearing strap on sandals. Oh oops you asked why, I don't know but that is the solution for the problem.
