Can a guy who is married with 2 kids join the air force?
I heard somewhere that after 2 kids you can't?
not true. However, they require that at first if he is single to give custody of hte kids to somebody else, unless you are married, even if not leaving together. He can give custody to his mom or whoever and then get it back once he is in. Once he is in, the only thing they require is a family care plan, it just says who is going to take care of the children, while you are here, deployed, or if something happens (emergencies, who picks them up from school, takes them etc. So, you wither have to be married or just give custody to somebody else. Im not sure if they require you to go through courts, maybe a notarized paper will satisfy. Talk to a recruiter and go by what he says about this issue, but double check on every other issue such as jobs in the air force etc. Come here to answer and they will answer most of the questions.
