Your mother's is more cute. Yours is more "sexy", although the ruffled skirt with the fake cropped leather jacket, the lace cami and the cork heels is mixing way too many fabrics together so it looks like it was forced together. A simpler black skirt would be nicer. Both tastes are fine, it depends on the look you are going for. I personally would wear your mother's outfit before I would wear yours, but I am older than 15.
