I think it's discusting when the mothers FORCE there kids to go in the pageants. If the kids like going in the pageants the fine I don't mind. But I hate when I see the mothers DRAGGING there screaming kid on stage. And some of those mothers are CRAZY!! This one mom gave her 6 YEAR OLD 3 Monster Energy Drinks. I'm a teen and I'm not allowed to drink that (lol) And a lot of those kids are spoiled rotten. The newest episode, the 7 year old kid said , "I like pink , i like money , i like pageants , and I like money." She was counting her money in her pink room. 102 , 103 , 104....
So overall , It depends to me.
I think it's crap. Those kids are going to grow up to be extremely high maintence. Plus, all those mothers are obviously living through their daughters. I mean really? I saw one where a mom got her daughter's eyebrows waxed and she was 8. There's nothing TO WAX! Then another girl was getting spray tanned. Which I guess isn't uncommon in these pageants, but is still crap. I'm not allowed to get spray tanned (not that I want to) and I'm a teen, as well. Another girl started shaving her legs at age 7. So I guess like you said if the kid likes them, it's fine. But from all the episodes I have seen, it doesn't appear that any of these kids like them.
