Im in a pageant the 6th of October or somethin and like we dont have to use talent are interview just walk across the stage ill describe my dress
My dress is hot pink and poofs at the waist and has spagetti straps and has flowers made from beads on it
my skin is a fair tanned dark tone
does the dress sound fine
and can i have some tips to maybe help me win i would like to win i mean it would be a good feeling id always remember .
Hmm, #1 definitely sounds flirty to me
Most guys won't waste their time on joking around with you if they aren't at least a little interested.
#2: I can somewhat imagine your dress, and it sounds beautiful to me! I love hot pink with tanned skin; it can look odd with paler skin, but on you I'm sure it looks great. The flowers made of beads sound pretty too.
Have you ever been in a pageant before? It's not as scary as it seems, I promise! Don't let nerves get the best of you. Make sure you practice walking in your heels before the pageant... since it's coming up soon, start practicing now. You'll want to be comfortable in them by the day of the pageant, and you'll also want to make sure that they're not slippery! Don't wear massively high ones (aka "stripper heels") no matter how short you may be. They won't be visible under the dress, and the higher the heel, the easier it is to fall! =O
Most pageant stages have three "X" marks on them (usually taped). You'll want to walk smoothly to each one while smiling at the judges and keeping eye contact (but don't stare them down!) When you reach the mark, pause while still smiling, then do a turn. Don't go too fast! Pause again, then proceed to the next X. Always keep eye contact and don't let your smile fade!
Aside from modeling your evening gown, make sure you know how you'll be doing your hair/makeup/nails. Bring any necessary supplies to the pageant, even if you're doing it beforehand, just so that you will be prepared in case anything happens. If you haven't made appointments for those things, hurry up and make them! Don't forget tanning if you want to get that done too. I hope this helps. Best of luck, have fun, and bring home that crown!!
