Is it true that different waves carry different energy?
The more it is vibrating the more energy it is carry .Laser have wavelength that vibrates slower than x-rays .And is limited on how much it can carry.But x-rays vibrate more than laser so can carry more information.
Blu vibrates more than red so blu can carry more information.Well radio hardly vibrates .
In the future what will we use?
At the moment, we use bianry system for our computing. It is what we call digital. When the light (or what ever else) is on, it represent 1, and when it is off, it is 0.
When we express things in binary, we don't need it to "Vibrate" so much, or we don't need it to carry so much information. Just a seriese of 1s and 0s.
Anyway, we would not be using x-ray for transmitting signals. it gets affected by things like gravity, electromagnetic field and numerous amount of other things, where light isn't as influenced by other things.
